The grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot and Grechetto were already present when we bought the winery in 2001. That is the reason why we decided to plant these varieties also in the new vineyard (2003). However, the Chardonnay vines on the terraces, not far from the olive grove, were completely new to the vineyard.

In the old vineyard, which dates from 1975, there are small quantities of other grape varieties, like Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano, Canaiolo for the red grapes, and Malvasia, Trebbiano and Verdello for the white grapes.
